My Favorite Festival

Hello, everyone! Today, I want to talk about my favorite festival. In China, there are many wonderful festivals, but the one that I like best is the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Mid-Autumn Festival usually comes in September or October. It’s a time for family reunion and enjoying delicious mooncakes. During this festival, we always gather together with our family members under the bright moon. We eat mooncakes, which are round and sweet, just like the full moon in the sky.

I also love looking at the beautiful moon on this special night. The moon looks so big and round, and it makes me feel warm and happy. Sometimes, my parents tell me stories about the moon, like the story of Chang’e flying to the moon. These stories are very interesting and make the festival even more fun.

Another thing I enjoy during the Mid-Autumn Festival is lighting lanterns. My friends and I often go outside to fly colorful lanterns. Watching them float up into the sky is magical and exciting.

In short, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family, food, and fun. I hope every year can have such a lovely festival to celebrate with my loved ones.
